Streszczenie
The paper provides an analysis of a membrane element with an additional rotational degree of freedom. Similar elements, the stiffness matrices obtained in an exact procedure, were investigated in other studies. The paper, however, analyses the membrane element stiffness matrix obtained in an approximate procedure with the use of reduced integration. Such an approach is an attempt at eliminating shear locking that occurs when a membrane element with additional rotational degrees of freedom is applied.
