Streszczenie
The paper presents the issue of protection against the negative effects of noise by means of timber noise barrier. Timber noise barriers are described with regard to the types of construction of the acoustic panel, technical solutions, materials and processing method. Advantages and disadvantages of timber noise barriers, and the range of application are also discussed in the article. (W artykule poruszona została problematyka ochrony przed hałasem przy wykorzystaniu drewnianych ekranów akustycznych. W szczegółowy sposób opisano drewniane ekrany akustyczne, uwzględniając ich podział w zależności od konstrukcji panelu akustycznego, technologię wykonania oraz stosowane materiały i sposób ich obróbki. Przedyskutowano wady i zalety drewnianych ekranów akustycznych oraz możliwości ich lokalizowania w różnych warunkach terenowych.)
