Streszczenie
The paper presents the efficiency analysis of the passive shield which is opaque lightweight steel shell made of perforated panels arranged on the outer side of the building. The simplified calculation methodology is given. It is shown that the use of the shield lowers the outer temperature of the wall by several degrees which results in limiting heat gains in the summer, correspondingly.
